Founder’s Memo

It is an honor and a privilege for Care.2.Inspire, Inc. to be situated within the friendly and hospitable atmosphere of the City of Leavenworth Kansas. As our presence is made known, we take pride in the role we play toward the evolution of this great community. The organizational existence of Care.2.Inspire, Inc. will contribute to the advancement of opportunity and quality of life for individuals and families living within the city and county of Leavenworth as well as surrounding areas. Care.2.Inspire, Inc. is extremely grateful for the unending support given by all community members and welcomes continued collaboration and partnership for the sake of growing a healthy and prosperous community.

What's in the Name?

The birth of our name, Care.2.Inspire, was influenced by a desire to remove the growing presence of a mechanical way of working with people within the practice of social service delivery. As a professional practitioner within the helping profession, there are several concepts that have proven to make a difference on the receiving end of service; compassion, relationship connection, authenticity, and respect. Someone once told me, "no one cares about how much you know until they know how much you care." Pondering on this statement, shared many years ago, ignited the urgency and need to solidify the foundation for the official branding of the organization. The idea of "care" can be recognized in view of a relational or a non-relational experience. As an organization, "care" is embraced with the application of a relational and non-relational element in order to facilitate a well-rounded experience for our members. The idea of "inspre" is embraced relative to the general understanding and process of empowerment. Therefore, the organization makes

a deliberate attempt to provide care with compassion that will lead to an uplift or bringing about of hope, strength, courage and confidence to all individuals served. Thus, the name Care.2.Inspire was born.

Logo: The word "care" and the word "inspire" are bridged together by the number "2" as an expressed illustration of the organization's goal to elicit the full potential of members. The fingerprint heart represents the intended long-lasting impression on the hearts and minds of the individuals and families we serve.

Colors: Crimson Red - (passion, humility) represents intense enthusiasm for service to the community with compassion and respect.

White - (confidence, energy, inspiration) represents the high-energy impact to instill confidence, faith and inspiration in the lives of individuals we serve.
